About
The southernmost whisky distillery on mainland Japan, established in 2023 in Makurazaki, Kagoshima by Satsuma Shuzo. The distillery's guiding philosophy is "elegance," and their first release won the Best Japanese Young Spirit award at World Whiskies Awards 2026. Their parent company, Satsuma Shuzo, is a well established shochu producer with deep experience in distillation.
