Shizuoka United S is Gaiaflow's first standard expression, blending spirit from their unique wood fired (W) and steam heated (K) pot stills. The "S" stands for the distillery's signature series. At 50.5% ABV, it showcases what makes Shizuoka special: bright fruit, gentle smoke, and serious craft at a very approachable price point.
Tasting Notes
Bright orchard fruits with pear, green apple, and candied citrus peel. Soft smoke, light herbal and minty notes with a touch of ginger.
Crisp and balanced. Pineapple, pear, and gentle malt sweetness layered with a subtle smoky undertone from the wood fired still distillate. Medium bodied with a lovely oily texture.
Clean and refreshing with lingering citrus zest and a whisper of smoke. Pleasantly dry.
