A budget brand marketed as Japanese whisky but produced using a blend of imported Scotch malt and domestic grain spirit. Not JSLMA compliant. Widely available at budget price points in the US where it serves as many people's first "Japanese whisky," though it does not represent what the category truly offers. The community generally recommends spending a bit more for an authentic product.
